FIRE ALARMS

Since the introduction of the “Fire Safety Order” in 2005, which came into force on the 1st of October 2006, if you manage or operate a business you will need to comply with the fire safety law.

The Order applies to virtually all buildings, places and structures other than private dwellings. It is the responsibility of the appointed persons to make sure your workplace reaches the required standard and that all employees are provided with adequate fire safety training. The FSO “Fire Safety Order” places the emphasis on risk reduction through “Risk Assessments”, which will be carried out by persons or owners responsible for the building. This identifies risks and hazards in the premises. The “Risk  Assessment” is mandatory and all risks and hazards must be recorded, if you have a total of five employees or more.

Here at Waveley, we have invested greatly in our staff and management to provide the most up to date training and knowledge in design, installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems to meet British Standard 5839 Part 1.

We at Waveley can provide the following systems:

Simple and cost-effective systems:
• Conventional fire alarm systems for a small busines
• On-site public address systems to communicate emergency messages in a larger building
